Allauddin Marri, former Caretaker Chief Minister of Balochistan and a Businessmen Panel candidate for the slot of President FPCCI for year 2019, called on President of FPCCI. They both discussed various issues faced by the Business community and the economic Challenges faced by the Country. They agreed to work together for the interests of business community and also to help the Government in overcoming the challenges faced at the economic front. They welcomed Government’s initiatives taken recently to actively work on Western root of CPEC and new International Airport at Gawadar. The both business leaders stressed the need of more involvement of Private Sector by the Government in formulating the economic policies and a regular and more intense interaction with the business community through FPCCI in reshaping the economy of the country. The also urged the Government that business and commercial oriented Public enterprises and Institutions should be brought out of Bureaucratic control and should be given to the Private Sector. The Heads of institutions like TDAP, TCP, PIA, and Steel Mills should be from Private Sectors and Boards responsible for business related funds such as EDF should also be headed by Private Sector.
