PML-N responsible for worsening economic condition: Fawad

16 Apr, 2019

In an interview with a private news channel, he said PML-N leadership has no justification to criticize the PTI government economic policies.

He said to avoid tough conditions of the IMF, government had approached friendly countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and others for seeking financial assistance. He said PPP and PML-N learnt corruption tactics from each other.

To a question, the minister said former Punjab chief minister Shahbaz Sharif had transferred the looted national wealth abroad. Fawad Hussain said plea bargain might be an option to get money back from the corrupt elements.

To another question, he said the decision about extension in the mandate of military courts would be taken on priority.  He said there is still need to root out some remnants of terrorist elements and their facilitators.

He said the neighbouring country was behind subversive activities, such as attacks on the Hazara community.
