Govt taking steps for development of all backward areas: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that his government is taking steps for the development of all backward areas in the country.

Addressing tribal elders at Spinkai Raghzai area of South Waziristan district on Wednesday, he said special funds will be provided for this purpose.

He said his government is trying its level best to provide justice and basic amenities to all people of the society on the pattern of Islamic Welfare State of Medina.

He said one hundred billion rupees will be spent on the development of tribal districts annually.

He assured that health and education facilities will be enhanced in tribal areas and special quota will also be fixed in jobs for tribal youth.

He said all the tribal people will be provided Sehat Insaf Card whereby every family will be allowed to spend seven hundred and twenty thousand rupees on their treatment.
