ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan has restored all taxes on mobile phone top-ups.
The court, while wrapping up a suo motu case in this connection Wednesday), withdrew the stay order placed on the collection of mobile phone taxes.
In a short order, Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa said that the apex court would not interfere in the matters of public revenue and tax collection.
It is to recall that Supreme Court had suspended deduction of taxes on prepaid cards provided by mobile phone service providers in June last year.
