Number of Pakistani celebrities have been boycotting Lux Style Awards after #MeToo debate sparked outraged in Pakistan. Supermodel Iman Aly has now called out Pakistani celebs for acting 'childish' and boycotting achievement of Pakistani entertainment industry.
This year’s nominees include model Eman Suleman, Rubab Ali, clothing brand Generation, makeup artist Saima Bagfrede, Fatima Nasir, singer Meesha Shafi and rock band The Sketches have withdrawn their nominations for LSA 2019.
Iman took to her Instagram and called it a 'childish' step. “Fame and respect should be earned with hard work in time. Not by childish walkouts and social media posts playing judge, jury and executioner,” she wrote.
Eman Suleman, who was the first one to boycott the awards, also commented on Iman’s post saying, “We’ve worked very hard and it saddens me to see that you, denigrate our efforts. What about the victims who have suffered at the hands of perpetrators in this industry, and other work places; they never got the chance to work hard and achieve what they could, instead the victims ostracized”.
‘Best Actor’ nominee Ahmed Ali Butt has also requested the protesters to respect the art and craft of Pakistani celebs and do not degrade one of the prestigious award ceremonies of the country.
Actor Shamoon Abbasi also took to Twitter to question unnecessary chaos about LSA 2019. He slammed the Pakistani artist Jami for throwing his LSA award on street.
Rules of throwing awards on the streets :
1. you don't take pictures of thing being thrown away
2. You don't bring the things back home that you have thrown away
3. You don't disrespect your awards for public attention for a matter that has been resolved

As far as I know Ali zafars and meesha shafis matter came to an end, where meesha Shafi was fined with 10,000 pk rs, on the basis of being unable to prove any sort of harrasment conducted by Ali zafar,
What is this LSA chaotic walk outs in a baseless story..

LSA jury has also issued a statement on Wednesday after a number of Pakistani celebs called out the jury over the nomination of an alleged harasser.
“The LSA film jury condemns all acts of intolerance, discrimination or harassment. However, it is also important to emphasize that the decision of the film jury were based on an assessment of merit of cinematic work. We do not consider any other extraneous issues related to personal characters or actions of people associated with that work,” LSA said in a statement.
