BUDAPEST: Between 350,000 and 1 million tonnes of crude oil received by Hungary from the Russian Druzhba pipeline was contaminated, with most of it intercepted before it reached the Hungarian refinery system, Hungary's government said on Tuesday.
Innovation and Technology Ministry State Secretary Peter Kaderjak corrected an earlier presentation which had said good quality oil was arriving from Belarus. He said there was no crude oil of any kind arriving from Belarus to Hungary.
