Maintaining that she is against the ban of Pakistan artists from working in Bollywood, Indian actress Parineeti Chopra has said she still wants to work with Pakistani actors Ali Zafar and Fawad Khan.
In an interview with a web show Voot’s Feet Up, the actress opposed the ban on Pakistani artists in India, which has been in place since the Pulwama incident in February this year, and said that Pakistani celebrities are still loved in India.
“I personally do not agree with this ban on Pakistani artists. I wish I could work with Ali again. I wish I could work with Fawad. He would be such a great hero in our industry. He is so loved here,” she said.
Parineeti has already worked with Ali in a 2014 Bollywood film ‘Kill Dil’. She shares a very good rapport with the Pakistani actor and often sends him best wishes for his projects in Pakistan. The actress was also left stunned after watching Ali’s performance in ‘Teefa in Trouble’ and congratulated him for the spectacular performance.
Recalling her time with Ali, Parineeti earlier said, “When you meet him, you will never know Ali is from a different country until he tells you”.
