ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Senator Walid Iqbal Thursday said the country’s economy was facing the difficult scenarios of its history whereas this hardship time will come to an end.
Talking to media outside the Parliament House, he said that the country’s future was bright as the new economic expert team had left the International Monetary Fund (IMF) job and came here to serve the nation.
He said, “There is no doubt on their passions as they are truly patriotic Pakistanis.”
He said that the previous governments had left a plethora of problems for the incumbent one which had put the country in the meshes of crisis and it would soon come to an end.
He blamed the previous government for perpetrating venues for consequent inflation in the current hour and said that the responsible were exposed before everyone.
He expressed his optimism that the PTI government would deliver good services to the masses and appealed to the public to cooperate and give them some time, adding that we are working hard to reclaim the country’s economy.
He added that once the economy got back on track it would eventually help resolve other core issues faced by the country.
“We would bring change in the country as we changed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and we will come again in power there,” he claimed.
