LAHORE: Dust-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Punjab including provincial capital during next 24 hours.
The maximum temperature in provincial capital on Tuesday was recorded as 34 degree celsius.
According to met office, scattered dust-thunderstorm/rain is expected in Multan, D.G Khan, Bahawalpur, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faislabad, Sahiwal divisions, Islamabad and Kashmir during next 24 hours.
However, dust-thunderstorm/rain occurred at scattered places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, and Kashmir, while at isolated places in Faisalabad, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, D.G Khan, and Gilgit Baltistan during last 24 hours.
Rainfall (mm) during last 24 hours: Murree 28, D.G Khan 14, Kasur 09, M.B Din 08, T.T Singh, Bahawalnagar 07, Hafizabad 05, Lahore, Sahiwal 04, Gujranwala 03, Sargodha, Sialkot 02, Narowal and Rawalpindi 01.
However, cloudy weather conditions are also expected in upper and central parts of the province.
According to synoptic situation, continental air is prevailing in most parts of the country. A shallow westerly wave is affecting upper and central parts of the country and likely to intensify on Wednesday.
Experts have also predicted rains within next 24 hours in Punjab including provincial capital, which would persist during the next few days.
Farmers have been advised to take adoptive measure and schedule the irrigation plans.
