ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tuesday again sought reply from National Accountability Bureau (NAB) till May 21, in petitions seeking post arrest bails of former chairman Karachi Stock Exchange Hussain Lawai and Taha Raza in fake accounts case.
A divisional bench comprising Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhter Kiyani heard the case filed by above accused in money laundering case.
During course of proceeding, NAB could not submit answers to IHC bench against the bail petitions.
The petitioner’s counsel pleaded before the bench that chairman NAB had not issued arrests warrants against his clients. He stated that both persons would cooperate with investigation of anti graft body if granted bail.
He prayed the court to grant post arrest bails to Lawai and Raza. The case was then adjourned till May 21.
