Vivek Oberoi gets police protection due to death threats over Modi biopic

Actor Vivek Oberoi has lately been having a tough time as he is getting into one controversy after another. This time it has gotten worst for the actor as he has been receiving death threats following his upcoming movie on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to Indian media reports, the actor has received death threats from Naxalites after his movie based on Indian PM is set for it official release. Further investigation on the case is going on, however, the actor was provided security during the screening of the movie. Until further notice, he has reportedly been granted 24 hours police protection.

Vivek had to face several obstacles for the release of his film. When the actor announced his film, will release on April 5, the election commission of India given the 2019 general elections, asked them to release their film after the results of the elections were out. Due to which they had to release their film after May 23. The makers have now locked down the date of May 24 for the film release.

Few days back, Vivek was also caught up in another controversy where he targeted actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for her past relationships. He was brutally slammed on social media for his disrespectful joke on the life of Bollywood diva.
