ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan Saturday said the opposition was hatching conspiracies against the chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to pressurize him for influencing corruption cases against them.
Talking to a private news channel, she said the opposition, especially Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), was using different tactics against the NAB chairman to defame him in order to escape from the accountability process.
To a question, Firdous said Shehbaz Sharif had adopted self exile for escaping accountability.
