Naming himself alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar to be the only ones in Bollywood who have been able to pull off stardom for such a long period, actor Salman Khan said stardom fades away but they have managed to keep it despite all these years.
Salman, who is currently busy promoting his film ‘Bharat’, further said that he is aware how the content of a film is the king now and not only the actor. In an interview to Bollywood Hungama, Salman said, “It [stardom] will always fade away. It’s a huge task to keep it going for such a long time. In fact, I think Shah Rukh [Khan], myself, Aamir [Khan], Akki [Akshay Kumar], we are the only ones who’ve been able to pull it off for such a long time.”
Admired for their savvy film choices and their status as a box-office magnet, Salman, SRK, Aamir and Akshay have been winning the hearts of the audiences for nearly three decades now. All four of them started out around the same time in the Bollywood industry and went on to become Bollywood superstars.
However, seems like Salman forgot to mention some of the Bollywood veterans such as Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan, who have been entertaining fans for many years now.
