The decision was primarily aimed at avoiding heavy passenger rush and to facilitate commuters who are willing to meet their loved ones for the Eid greetings in their respective cities, towns and villages. The move would also help earn handsome revenue to the already ailing oldest public transport entity of the country. The booking of trains will start from May 29 onwards. Tickets can be availed online or from the PR reservation offices, said Railways spokesperson. PR has shared the train schedule following instructions of Railways Minister Shaikh Rasheed Ahmad and approval of the Chief Executive Muhammad Aftab Akbar. As per details released by Railways, the first special will depart from Karachi Cantonment Station towards its destination - Peshawar on June, 2 at 10:45am. The second train will leave Quetta the capital city of Balochistan towards Rawalpindi on June 2 at 11:30 am. The third train will begin it's journey from Karachi to Lahore on June, 3 at 11:00am. Fourth train will depart from Rawalpindi towards Quetta on June 8, at 8:00am while the fifth train will leave from Lahore towards Karachi on June 8, at 6:00pm.
