PPP leaders incited workers for clashes with police: Dar

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs, Muhammad Usman Dar Wednesday said the Pakistan People’s Party leaders incited its workers for violence and clashes with police during appearance of its Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

PPP leadership was inciting its workers for violence to conceal corruption and fake accounts case against Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, he said talking to a private news channel.

The special assistant said the PPP workers assembled before NAB building today to create agitation or chaos for making environment worst during the appearance of its chairman.

He said the peaceful protest and demonstration was right of every citizen in democratic system but violence would deal with iron hands.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), during previous regime, had carried out peaceful protest against elimination of menace of corruption and Panama Papers scandal, he added.

Usman Dar claimed that it was a merely allegation against PTI regarding attacked on the buildings of Pakistan Television (PTV) and Parliament, adding PTI had peacefully protested for opening of four constituencies in the country. Its several leaders were beaten with sticks during protest, he lamented.

He said the PTI government was taking effective and gigantic measures for wiping out corruption and money laundering in order to recover looted the country’s wealth.
