ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Mutahhida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Wednesday called on Prime Minister Imran Khan and discussed with him development projects of Karachi.
Members of the delegation demanded a probe into formation of forged domiciles in Karachi and Hyderabad during the last ten years depriving the residents of the two big cities from government jobs and their legal right.
They also called for implementation on constitution of Provincial Finance Commission for judicious distribution of NFC at provincial level and that development funds for Karachi and Hyderabad should be ensured till formation of Provincial Finance Commission.
The delegation included Minister for Information Technology Khalid Maqbool Siddique, Law Minister Dr Muhammad Farogh Nasim, Amir Khan, Kanwar Naveed , Waseem Akhtar, Amin ul Haq and Faisal Sabzwari.
Minister for Planning Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar and Special Assistant to the PM Naeem ul Haq were also present in the meeting.
