The bench also again served notices to interior, law, defense ministries and PTM’s activists including Manzoor Pashteen, Ali Wazir and Mohsin Dawar to sought reply on June 13. Justice Aamer Farooq said the freedom of expression was not unlimited.
The court would not issue directives against one individual rather it would order the department concerned to prepare a policy against such acts.
The petitioner’s counsel pleaded before the court that people associated with PTM had been involve defaming the state and its institutions through uploading material on social media.
He prayed the court to direct PTA for blocking such negative material.
The PTA’s counsel sought time from court to submit its reply, which had been accepted.
