Microsoft has unveiled the next-generation of its Xbox console, dubbed the Project Scarlett, what Microsoft calls as the most powerful and highest-performing console ever designed by them.
During the E3 2019 conference held on Sunday, Microsoft revealed its Xbox One X’s successor called the Project Scarlett that features a specially-designed AMD processor that is around four times more powerful than its forerunner and also features 8K displays.
As per Hyperbeast, the newest iteration will support to 120 frames-per-second (FPS), 8K displays, and a native 4K resolution at 60 FPS. Also, it will host a next-generation SSD that will provide up speeds roughly 40 times faster than other consoles.

Project Scarlett, whose design was still kept a secret, is scheduled to launch next year. The console will be launch with Microsoft’s next big upcoming game, Halo Infinite.
Apart from this, Microsoft also announced that they have thousands of games in development across Xbox One and Windows PC too. It also showed off a futuristic dystopian adventure game Cyberpunk 2077, featuring ‘John Wick’ star Keanu Reeves.
CNET reported, the tech firm also discussed its upcoming Project xCloud service, which will let users stream games over the internet just like the way they watch Netflix videos nowadays – competing directly with Google’s streaming service, Google Stadia.
