Pakistani actress Meera will soon make a comeback in movies with ‘Baaji’. Bollywood actor/director Soni Razdan in a recent interview praised Pakistani actress for her hard work and killer instinct.
In an interview for BBC Urdu, Soni Razdan, who introduced Meera to the Indian film industry with ‘Nazar’ in 2005, was all praises for the Lollywood superstar. When the host informed Razdan that Meera is making her comeback in a Pakistani movie, Razdan said that Meera is a director’s dream.
“As an actress, she (Meera) totally gives herself to the director,” Razdan said, speaking of her experience of directing Meera. “There was a little bit of a film cultural problem because the films she was acting in at that time in Pakistan were a little different to perhaps my approach that I was trying to do in my films. But as an actor, she was a dream; she is always working, she is always on. That killer instinct that she has is what has seen her become such a successful actor,” she added.
Meera’s ‘Baaji’ also stars Amna Ilyas, Ali Kazmi, Osman Khalid Butt and Mohsin Abbas Haider in lead roles. The movie will hit theaters on June 28.
