ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Climate Change Zartaj Gul Tuesday said education is the best revenge and youth of the country should be equipped with technical education.
Speaking at the Open House 2019 to showcase final year projects of Department of Electrical and Biomedical Engineering Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences of Ripah International University, she said we lack inclination towards technical education of young generation.
“Nobody’s assets and wealth possess repute rather his education matters in the society,” she added.
“There is a huge demand for skilled workforce and Qatar at present requires 1 million skillful human resource,” she added.
“Youth comprises of 70 million out of the total 220 million population of the country. We do not want to let our young generation become a burden rather the incumbent government is giving due attention to knowledge economy,” Zartaj Gul said.
She said that owing to the adverse climate change impacts on the region concrete buildings had become hazardous whereas it was high time to convert our constructions and edifices compatible to developing environmental degradation scenarios.
“Our youth lies very close to the heart of Prime Minister Imran Khan whereas the incumbent government is going to launch Rs100 billion project for the youth of the country,” the state minister expressed.
Zartaj mentioned that the intelligent minds of the nation constructed the Tarbela Dam which was not less than any miracle and this legacy should continue to make the country strong and prosperous.
