Complaint filed against Veena Malik for ‘hate speech’ against Maryam, Nawaz Sharif

Controversial Pakistani actress Veena Malik is in hot waters as a complaint has been filed against her for allegedly abusing PML-N leaders Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz through her social media accounts.

The complainant requested the deputy director FIA Cyber Crime Wing to initiate legal action against the accused for hurting the sentiments of leaders and workers of PML-N by launching twitter tirade against Sharifs.

Reportedly, the cyber crime cell of FIA has initiated legal proceedings in this regard. The complainant stated that Veena used inappropriate words for Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz on her official twitter account.

“Veena used abusive, highly-inappropriate and defamatory language against my leaders that hurt his sentiments of tens of thousands of workers of the PML-N,” the complainant mentioned in the application.

Reacting to this, Veena also posted on Twitter, “So PML-N is threatening me to file case against me. For what? For standing with my country? For how long this is going to last? Till when these political mafia's are going to use these filthy tactics to suppress the voices who speak against them?”.

Many fans are supporting the actress on basis of freedom of speech. Veena is nowadays quite active on social media and is often seen sharing her comments regarding political situation of Pakistan.
