Most end users had placed orders for enough supplies to last them through the weekend before the US Independence Day holiday on Thursday.
The US Agriculture Department on Friday morning said that weekly export sales of soymeal totaled 25,400 tonnes.
Analysts' forecasts for soymeal export sales had ranged from 150,000 tonnes to 350,000 tonnes.
At 11:19 a.m. CDT (1619 GMT), Chicago Board of Trade August soymeal futures were down $2.10 at $306.00 a ton.
The August contract bottomed out at $304.40 a ton, its lowest since May 28, earlier in the session.
