TUNIS: Tunisia's cereal harvest will hit 2.4 million tonnes in 2019, the biggest in decades, Agriculture Minister Samir Bettaib said on Monday, revising up the government's previous estimate.
Last week, the agriculture ministry said it expects its grain harvest to jump to 2.1 million tonnes this year, up from about 1.4 million tonnes in 2018.
The harvest estimate includes a forecast for 1.26 million tonnes of durum wheat, Bettaib said.
