ISLAMABAD: The exchange rate of dollar gained 05 paisa in interbank and was traded at Rs 157.37 as compared to the last closing at Rs 157.32, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported on Tuesday.
However according to Forex association of Pakistan the buying and selling rates of dollar in open market were recorded at Rs 156.70 and Rs 157.70.
The SBP further reported that in interbank the price of Euro decreased by 43 paisa and was traded at Rs 176.22 as compared with last closing at Rs176.65.
Japanese yen dipped by 01 paisa and was traded at Rs 1.44 against Rs 1.45, whereas the decrease of 97 paisa was witnessed in exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs 196.13 as compared with last closing at Rs 197.10.
Exchange rates of UAE Dirham jumped by 01 paisa whereas Saudi Rayal gained 02 paisa after which they were traded at Rs 42.84 and Rs 41.96 against Rs 42.83 and Rs 41.94 respectively.
