LONDON: A total of 793,350 tonnes of Thai white sugar has been tendered against the August contract on ICE Futures Europe, exchange data showed on Wednesday.
The August contract expired on Tuesday.
The sugar comprised 493,150 tonnes with a load port of Bangkok/Kohsichang and 300,200 tonnes with a load port of Laemchabang/Sri Racha.
The buyers were ED&F Man Capital Markets (470,200 tonnes), Sucden Financial (253,150 tonnes), Intl FCStone Ltd (59,100) and Macquarie Bank Ltd (10,900).
The sellers were BNP Paribas SA (493,350 tonnes), ADM Investor Services International Ltd (200,000) and Marex Financial (100,000).
