The Indian batting maestro and one of the greatest batsmen to ever play the game, Sachin Tendulkar, has became the latest person to enter the ICC Hall of Fame.

"It is an honour to be inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame, which cherishes the contribution of cricketers over generations. They have all contributed to the growth and popularity of the game and I am happy to have done my bit," said Tendulkar at the induction ceremony held Thursday night.

The former Indian right-hand batsman possess every possible cricketing record to his credit accumulating 15,921 runs in Tests and 18,426 runs in ODIs, both of which remain records to date. The Little Master is also the only player to have hit 100 centuries in international cricket as well.
