Pakistani actor/host Nadia Khan recently revealed that she was offered lead role in hit Pakistani film ‘Bol’ but she refused the film due to family pressure.
Nadia, while appearing on a talk show on a local channel, claimed that she was offered Humaima Malik's role in ‘Bol’ but her family was against the role, which was beautifully written for her first. She added that the film's director Shoaib Mansoor insisted her to accept the offer but her husband and in-laws did not allow her so she refused the role, which was later performed by Humaima.
During the same interview, Nadia was asked many other candid questions during the rapid fire segment, one of which was ranking top three Pakistani actress based on their acting. When asked to rank Mehwish Hayat, Mahira Khan and Saba Qamar based on their acting skills, Nadia placed Saba on top and refused to add Mahira and Mehwish in the list, saying that she would not rate these two actress on their acting.
She instead placed Iqra Aziz as second best actress and praised her saying that she is one of the finest actors of this generation. “Whatever I said about Mahira and Mehwish is quite meaningful if someone wants to understand what it means,” she added.
Nadia remarks on Mahira's acting raised many eyebrows as the acting skills of the mega star have been questioned several times and lately is the talking point among many actors in past few days.
