Pak Army prepared to go to any extent to fulfil obligations on Kashmir issue: COAS

06 Aug, 2019

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has affirmed that Pakistan Army is prepared and shall go to any extent to fulfil its obligations against India's decision to legalise its occupation of Indian Occupied Kashmir through article 370 or 35-A.

The Director of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor took to the official twitter handle of the army wing after the Corps Commander Conference held today. The DG ISPR wrote that the COAS fully supports government’s rejection of Indian actions regarding Kashmir.

The DG ISPR further said that Pakistan never recognised the sham Indian efforts to legalise its occupation of Jammu and Kashmir through article 370 or 35-A decades ago, 'efforts which have now been revoked by India itself.'

“Pakistan Army firmly stands by the Kashmiris in their just struggle to the very end. We are prepared and shall go to any extent to fulfil our obligations in this regard," the DG ISPR quoted COAS.
