Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has urged the parliament to cut diplomatic ties with India.

Addressing the joint session of the Parliament on Wednesday, the minister suggested to cut diplomatic ties with New Delhi as they give no value to Pakistan’s peace offerings.

“If India doesn’t want to talk, they don’t give any value to us, so why Indian ambassador is here? We should cut our diplomatic ties with India,” the minister expressed his views during the address.

The minister also broke into tears during the address and urged the house not to let Kashmir become Palestine.

“I urge the parliament to not let Kashmir become Palestine," said Fawad — who broke into tears. "We cannot stand this and cannot live with this humiliation. If it comes to a fight, we will fight.”

Furthermore, the minister said Pakistan is not in favour of war, but if we were dragged into it, we will not back down from it.

“We are not in favour of war,” said Fawad. “It doesn’t mean that that we are running from it. If we were dragged into it, I can assure you that every child in Pakistan will fight till the last drop of their blood.”

“The message from this parliament should be that we fought for Kashmir before and we will fight for Kashmir again,” the minister concluded.
