BRASILIA: Brazilian coffee exporters shipped 2.83 million 60-kg bags of green coffee in July, 33.3% more than in the same month a year earlier, as large local supplies allow for a continuing growth in monthly exporting volumes.
Brazil, the world's largest producer of the commodity, exported 2.26 million bags of arabica beans in July, 28.6% more than the same month last year, while shipments of robusta coffee jumped more than 55.5% to 326,800 bags, according to a report on Friday by coffee exporters association Cecafé.
