Around the time of production on ‘Fast & Furious 7’, Brian O’Conner star Paul Walker was tragically killed in a car crash on a day off from filming. Now, lead actor Vin Diesel has hinted about the possible return of Walker’s character in the film through an Instagram post.
The late actor’s brother recently stopped by the set of the ninth movie, which is currently filming with the franchise’s biggest stars returning to reprise their roles. Diesel, who plays leader Dom Toretto, revealed Cody’s visit on Instagram they return back to the camera.
The 52-year-old star wrote, “There is something special that happens every time Cody comes to visit production”.
Cody’s visit to the sets has been touted as probable return of Walker’s character Brian O’Conner. This is not the first time Cody has visited the sets since his brother’s death.
The seventh movie was in production at the time, and the cast and crew relied on Cody to come in as a stand-in for his late brother. The rest of the film was shot through CGI with the help of Cody.
Talking about the return of Brian in ‘Fast 9’, Cody told Metro that anything is possible. “You know there’s a lot of things that are said about the franchise, there’s a lot of rumours going around. I think anything is possible and we’ll see what the future has in store,” he said.
‘Fast 9’ will hit theatres on April 2020.
