Though Samsung has introduced 5G smartphones in the past too such as the recently released Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G, but they all cost a bit too much. Now, for the first time the company has revealed a mid-range Galaxy phone supporting 5G along with numerous amazing specs.
The tech behemoth Samsung today announced its Galaxy A90 5G phone that not only features high-end specifications, but also marks itself as the first ever mid-range Samsung phone to support 5G connectivity.
“Made for digital natives living in the Era of Live, the Galaxy A90 5G combines 5G-connectivity with powerful features to capture, stream and share exactly the way you want,” wrote Samsung in a blog post.
Apart from the 5G connectivity, the A90 5G model features a 6GB or 8GB RAM with 128GB expandable storage with a 6.7-inch Infinity-U display and an integrated fingerprint sensor. Also, it is equipped with a 48MP+8MP+5MP triple rear camera system, a 32MP selfie camera, and a whooping 4,500mAh battery life.
As of for the 5G benefits, Samsung wrote, “With the Galaxy A90 5G, you will be able to stream every minute of your favorite artists live concert, as if you were actually there. Additionally, with lower lag-times and a reliable and stable connectivity, you won’t miss a moment of that group video chat or critical moment in a game.”
The Galaxy A90 5G will be launched in Samsung’s home country South Korea tomorrow with expansion to ‘additional markets thereafter’, but the phone’s price has not yet been revealed. Apart from the Galaxy A90 5G, Samsung has three 5G smartphones including the Galaxy S10 5G, Galaxy Note 10 5G and the Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G.
