India's minister of Railways and Commerce Piyush Goyal believes that it was Albert Einstein who discovered gravity and used it to defend his government and the current economical crisis in India by saying that one should not go for maths and maths did not help Einstein discover gravity.
At a meeting for the Board of Trade, Goyal who has also remained a former finance minister was asked how India is supposed to become a $5-trillion economy at the current rate, to which the minister replied 'do not get into calculations about the economy'.
The minister further elaborated and said, "Don't get into calculations about the economy. Don't get into maths. Maths never helped Einstein discover Gravity."
Why should Nirmala have all the fun? Piyush Goyal has just delivered a blockbuster dialogue
"Don't get into calculations about the economy. Don't get into maths. Maths never helped Einstein discover Gravity" 🙄

This is not the first time that a minister from Narendra Modi's government has made a blunder. Earlier, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had claimed that the auto sector slowdown was because of millennials.

She said that the slowdown in the auto industry is because millennials were not buying cars any more and this change in their mindset is one of the big reasons behind the crisis.
