While presiding over a meeting arranged here, Iftikhar Ali Sahu further asked authorities concerned to submit him a brief survey report over tumbledown local sewerage system.
He said CM Punjab was very much cognizant of the city’s issue and wanted to resolve those on priority basis.
He termed ‘dilapidated sewer system’ the grave issue of the city, to which Wasa authorities were given grant of over Rs1477 millions, he said.
He pressed for purely watching inhabitants’ interest while accomplishing any project. He called for zero tolerance over quality maintenance of projects to be initiated any part of the city.
He said every bit of national exchequer would be spent on people’s welfare projects. Director development Waqas Khan Khakwani, Additional DC revenue Zaheer Abbas Sherazi, MD Wasa Rao Qasim and other officers were present on the occasion.
