Leading the Pakistan cricket team is no easy task and captain Sarfaraz Ahmed's regular outbursts on the field tells a lot about the captaincy pressures. Babar Azam too is feeling the heat these days and since becoming the vice captain, he seems to get angry as well when things don't go as planned, revealed skipper Sarfaraz. “Babar has been recently announced vice captain, so what used to happen was when I used to get a bit angry, Babar who stood alongside at slips used to calm me down, but since he has became the vice captain himself, Babar tells me that he gets much angrier,” revealed Sarfaraz, in a candid chat with former captain Wasim Akram, on a video channel. Speaking about his recent weight loss, the skipper, who was trolled for being overweight for quite some time, said that he is now avoiding all junk food and is following a strict protein diet. “It seems that I have almost stopped eating and am now following a strict protein diet alongside eating some vegetables as well,” said the skipper. To a question as to why Pakistan didn’t take chances against Sri Lanka by not introducing any new players for the series, the skipper said that the Sri Lankan team, despite being young, was an international side. “So we cannot take them lightly, but we would try to give chance to the competent players,” he said. Sri Lanka is enjoying an unassailable lead of 2-0 and would meet the hosts Pakistan for the final time for the third T20I at Lahore.
