Wife of Governor Punjab Perveen Sarwar has kicked off awareness campaign for polio and dengue and arranged free medical camp for dengue effected patients. She said that more polio and dengue prevention medical camps will be arranged and awareness seminars will be organized in Lahore and other parts of Punjab.

Wife of Governor Punjab Mrs. Perveen Sarwar launched this awareness campaign from Kot Lakhpat area of Lahore this Sunday. Chairperson SK Foundation Shahista Khawar and activists of organizations, working for polio and dengue eradication, were also present. Mrs. Perveen Sarwar gave polio drops to children and distributed pamphlets in women, children and others. A medial camp was organized where dengue and other patients were checked up and given free medicines. While talking to media persons, Perveen Sarwar said that precautionary measures must be taken to prevent the spread of dengue and polio virus.
