'Parties should demonstrate political maturity'

Provincial Minister for Special Education Ch. Muhammad Akhlaq has stressed upon the political leaders that they demonstrate political maturity and desist from politics of confrontation and under mining the larger national interest.

Talking to reporters on Monday here he said that political leaders were indulged in negative political activities just their personal gains. It is astonishing two political parties were backing so-called Azadi March and doing their political activities under the umbrella of Maulana Fazalur Rehman for their agenda he said.

The Minister alleged that corrupt mafia financially supporting Maulana Fazalur Rehman for staging so-called Azadi March to destable the democratic system of the country. In fact he said some political parties were backing Maulana for obtaining NRO but Prime Minister had made clear that no NRO would be granted to any corrupt and looters of national wealth he said. The Minister further stated that Maulana had intensified anti government activities after Prime Minister's speech in United Nations General Assembly in which he managed to highlight brutalities and highhandedness of Indian troops in held Kashmir adding that all anti state elements including India were supporting the Azadi March, Maulana Fazalur Rehman were trying to strengthen the hands of anti Pakistan elements.

Ch. Akhlaq further stated that PTI led government was committed to eliminate the menace of corruption from gross roots level aimed at making the country corruption free. It is very unfortunate that Maulana Fazalur Rehman as Chairman Kashmir Committee had done nothing for the Kashmir despite enjoying the facilities for many years he said.
