NAB Rawalpindi sub-office Gilgit-Baltistan arrested Arif Ibrahim ex-secretary finance GB, currently working as Sr Joint Secretary Interprovincial Coordination Committee Islamabad from Islamabad in pursuance of non-bailable warrant of arrest issued by Accountability Court Gilgit-Baltistan, Gilgit in reference no. 05/2018.

It is pertinent to mention here that NAB(R) sub-office Gilgit-Baltistan has already filed a reference against Arif Ibrahim, ex-Secretary Finance GB, Muhammad Ali Yougvi, ex-Secretary Excise and Taxation GB, Mir Intikhab ul Haq, ex-ETO Ghizer, Muhammad Saleem, Contractor Excise Department and Sherbaz Ahmed on the charges of corruption and corrupt practices in procurement of arms and ammunition for Excise and Taxation Department GB.-PR
