The Bangladesh Cricket Board's (BCB) security delegation will arrive in Karachi today (Thursday) to review security arrangements in Karachi, Lahore and twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. As per reports, the security delegation would review security arrangements in Karachi on Friday and Lahore on Saturday. It is pertinent to inform that the Bangladesh women's cricket team and Under-16 cricket team are due to visit Pakistan in the last week of October. In addition, the delegation will also visit Islamabad and Rawalpindi, where the U-16 team plans to hold matches. Pakistan is determined to host Bangladesh Women's and U-16 teams after a successful tour of Sri Lanka. Meanwhile, as per Bangladesh Cricket Board spokesperson Jalal Younas, the tours by both teams are subject to security clearance. The delegation will also be briefed on the visit of the Bangladesh men’s team to Pakistan, scheduled to be held next year. According to the schedule, the Bangladesh women's team will have to arrive in Lahore on October 23 for a series of three T20Is and two ODIs.
