Government is fully aware of the problems confronted by the business community and sustainable solutions are being worked out to resolve the same, said Adviser to Prime Minister for Commerce, Textile, Industry Production, and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood.
Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) SVP Zafar Iqbal Sarwar had a detailed meeting with Abdul Razak Dawood on the special instruction of FCCI president Rana Muhammad Sikandar Azam Khan.
Abdul Razak Dawood said the existing problems are temporary and maximum facilitation would be enjoyed by the business community as soon as the overall economic situation improved. He further told that trade deficit is gradually reducing due to the serious and targeted efforts of the government.
Quoting the recent meeting of federal cabinet, he told that prime minster has clearly directed to check the price spiral. He told that people would feel its results very soon. Similarly taxation related problems are also being tackled prudently and he will himself visit Faisalabad on November 09 to interact with business community and resolve their problems of immediate nature.
Zafar Iqbal Sarwar appreciated the government's efforts and told that government has already released refunds of billions of rupees and more steps are in pipeline to facilitate business community. He further told that efforts are also been expedited to improve the ranking of 'Ease of doing business in Pakistan' so that our educated youth could prefer to become successful entrepreneurs instead of running after jobs. He also welcomed the recently launched 'Kamyab Jawan Programme' for which Rs 100 billion has been allocated.
