Punjab chief minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said the government is committed to take forward the journey of development and public service. During a meeting with parliamentarians belonging to different districts of the province who called on him, here Saturday, the CM said that people of Pakistan will never support the elements which want to destabilize the country for the sake of personal benefit.
He said that public representatives should increase their contacts with the people and leave no stone un-turned to resolve their problems. The CM said that during the last one year present government has accelerated the economic activities in the country besides creating Ease in Doing Business as a result of which national economy has strengthened. He said that World Bank has also acknowledged government's reforms in its Annual Doing Business Index.
He maintained that in 2020 Pakistan will be on top among the countries suitable for the investment. He said that fruitful results of economic reforms are being surfaced in Punjab. Creating ease in doing business will promote investment as well, he said.
The CM said the country needs stability instead of negative politics. He said that national interest should be a priority in order to cope with internal and external challenges.
Moreover, provincial health minister Dr Yasmin Rashid called on CM Sardar Usman Buzdar on Saturday and apprised him about the latest situation with regard to the treatment of Nawaz Sharif and the steps taken in this regard. The chief minister directed to provide every possible facility for the treatment of Nawaz Sharif.
