An accountability court on Wednesday extended judicial remand of the Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly, Hamza Shahbaz till Nov 12 in two cases of Ramzan Sugar Mills and assets beyond income/money laundering. The jail officials presented Hamza before the court while a prosecutor of the NAB sought time to complete references against the suspect. The court also allowed one time exemption to PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif from personal appearance in the sugar mills case. The police took extra ordinary security measures outside the court and did not let Hamza talk to the media and meet the Khwaja brothers who were also brought there for their trial in Paragon City case.
