On Thursday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,272.

The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 5.968 billion and the numbers of lots traded 10,988.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 2.624 billion, followed by WTI Crude Oil PKR 769.390 million, Currencies through COTS PKR 639.719 million, NSDQ100 PKR 576.534 million, Platinum PKR 422.755 million, Silver PKR 339.723 million, DJ PKR 226.783 million, Natural Gas PKR 163.724 million, Palladium PKR 110.970 million, Copper PKR 40.328 million, SP500 PKR 29.743 million, Brent Crude Oil PKR 16.541 million and Japan Equity PKR 7.088 million.

In agriculture commodities 18 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 13.595 million were traded.
