While the treatment of former prime minister is underway here at the Services hospital, Nawaz Sharif's platelets count remained around 40,000, it has been learnt.
The medical board taking care of Nawaz's health examined him at 11:00am Monday and conducted further tests including the complete blood count (CBC).
The sources claimed that the doctors have stopped giving blood thinning medicines to Nawaz Sharif. Moreover, blood pressure of Nawaz Sharif is stated to be under control. However, his blood sugar level is unstable due to steroid. Insulin is being used to control diabetes, the sources said.
On the other hand, Nawaz Sharif's kidney disease is also creating problems in his treatment, the sources added. The medical board is exercising utmost care in the treatment of Nawaz Sharif and using medication after medical tests, the sources said.
