The meeting presided over by Provincial Minister for Industries and Trade Mian Aslam Iqbal on Tuesday reviewed the prospectus of investment in livestock sector in the Kasur district.
The meeting also reviewed matters relating to setting up of disease-free zone in Kasur region according to international standard. The Chief Executive Officer Punjab Board of Investment and Trade and other officials concerned also attended the meeting. The meeting was briefed that a foreign company expressed its keen interest in livestock sector in the province.
The minister said it is strategy of the PTI government to bring new investment in different sectors of Punjab. With adoption of conducive environment and investment-friendly policies, investors are turning towards Punjab for investment. "We are providing all possible facilities to local and foreign investors under one roof," he added.
