Serbia buys euros to stem dinar gains

Serbia's central bank bought an unspecified amount of euros on local interbank market on Monday to ease appreciation pressures on the domestic currency, dealers said. The bank intervened as the dinar traded at 117.38 against the common currency. After the euro purchase, the dinar weakened to the rate of 117.48.
