In compliance with the Supreme Court orders, the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) on Monday removed encroachments at various city neighbourhoods.

The anti-encroachment team took action at Tanga Stand in Sadder area and removed cabin, food stalls, push carts, animal cage, tables and chairs, sugar cane juice machine from foot paths and seized these items.

In another operation at the Lea Market and G Allana Road, encroachments from the pavements and other places were removed and seized stuff was deposited in the KMC store.

In district central, Post Office stop in Liaqatabad, food stalls, cabin, push carts and puncture shops were removed.
