Former minister for planning and development Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar on Friday assumed his charge as Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research. Secretary Ministry for National Food Security and Research Dr Muhammad Hashim Popalzai received the minister and later briefed him about the development schemes and attached department of the ministry.
