On Wednesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,296.

The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 4.224 billion and the numbers of lots traded was 7,302.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 1.527 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS PKR 837.513 million, Crude Oil PKR 643.734 million, Silver PKR 383.779 million, Platinum PKR 259.700 million, NSDQ100 PKR 209.373 million, Natural Gas PKR 88.304 million, Palladium PKR 82.862 million, DJ PKR 78.603 million, Brent Crude Oil PKR 59.916 million, SP500 PKR 28.335 million, Copper PKR 21.341 million and Japan Equity PKR 3.658 million.
