Chief Commissioner-IR, Large Taxpayers Unit Lahore Asim Majid Khan said Monday the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is endeavouring for removing human interface in tax matters and refunds claims of exporters are being cleared online.

He said directions have been issued to the banking sector for release of Rs30 billion refunds claims of exporters and remaining claims would be cleared early next year.

According to him, the FBR was holding workshops of taxpayers constantly to minimize the problems being faced by them in making entries to the online system. These efforts are proving fruitful as the irritants of the system are being removed after holding workshops and listening to the problems of taxpayers.
